Camel Trekking Morocco

If you are heading to Morocco for holidays you should always highly consider journeying into the desert on Sahara trips.  These tours offer authentic and unique experience quite different from the visit of the Imperial cities of Morocco.  The desert tours can be arranged either from Marrakesh, Fes or even Agadir.

Erg Chegaga sand dunes are located by M’hamid and are reachable from Agadir or Marrakech. They spread over 40km and are almost as high as the dunes in Erg Chebbi. 

However, it is not easy to arrive to this area of sand dunes. You require to have 4x4 WD or at least camel trek 4 days to reach the heart of these sahara dunes. 

If you do make your way to Erg Chegaga for your camel trekking Morocco ,  the experience will be incredibly rewarding and gratifying.  You can spend several days camel trekking across the mountains of sand or if you have limited time then even one full day is worthwhile.
